Description

A clapperboard is often written on more frequently on set than some schedules are read. Accordingly, the pen should function reliably.

The refillable clapperboard pen works with a pump mechanism. By briefly pressing the tip, new ink is precisely fed from the cartridge. This allows the tip to be re-saturated when ink flow decreases, instead of shaking the pen for minutes, frantically trying to write, or immediately declaring it empty.

This ensures strong, even lettering – even after longer breaks or if the pen has been in use for a while. The rule is: a short pump is enough. If you treat the tip like a broken elevator button, you'll get a lot of ink.

The clapperboard pen is available with either a round or chisel tip. The round tip is suitable for even lines and fast writing. With the chisel tip, depending on the angle, narrow or wider strokes can be written, for example, for clear scene and take information.

When the cartridge is empty, there's no need to dispose of the entire pen. Simply replace the refill cartridge and keep writing. The matching replacement cartridges are sold separately.
